Educon is expanding. We are currently looking for professional sales people to manage their own territory throughout Australia, selling our extensive range of library books to junior and secondary schools, TAFE colleges and municipal libraries. You will be allocated a broad selection of titles from our extensive range located at our warehouse in Belrose NSW. A vehicle in good working condition is essential for the position. You will receive full support from our administration and warehouse team with an on-line order entry facility to ensure timely delivery of books to your customers. The selling year is confined to approximately 40 weeks as defined by the 4 term school year. This role is commission based with the potential for earning unlimited commission.
We require an experienced educational sales professional or teacher/educator to service the school and/or early childhood markets in a number of territories.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and contracted during school terms/hours you will be promoting a wide range of books and literacy materials to librarians, literacy coordinators or child care owners and directors.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working independently but willing to contribute to a team environment. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are essential and a passion for books will be well regarded.
Extensive support and materials will be provided to the right candidate along with a generous commission structure.
This is a contract position that is ideal for someone who is looking for flexibility during school terms. Own car required.
